A prominent example of this trend appeared recently following the death of singer Dolly Parton. Among various human tributes, a viral eulogy emerged that was not from a person or celebrity. This AI generated country song, titled "Run Jolene," ran for just under five minutes and featured typical genre elements like a twangy singer and banjo licks. Its lyrics referenced Jolene, Parton’s famous fictional romantic rival, with phrases such as, "Somebody better warn Jolene / Dolly’s coming through those gates."
