Authorities estimate that at least 10,000 people currently remain within the geographical area known as the enclave of Ceuta. This large population figure is a direct consequence of a significant and unprecedented increase in arrivals that occurred during the month of July.
The official estimation indicates that these ten thousand individuals have continued to reside in Ceuta following what was identified as a record breaking surge. The July influx established the present number of people, who are still located in the enclave.
