This particular game started with neither team scoring, holding a 0 0 tie early in the first quarter with 13 minutes and 20 seconds left on the clock.
During the opening quarter, the Bengals' offense encountered an early setback when a play was deemed incomplete, forcing them to punt the ball away. Their defense, however, responded by swiftly putting the Texans into a third down situation. Subsequently, Texans player CJ Stroud attempted a pass which his receiver juggled, ultimately leading to the Texans also punting. Following these exchanges, Will Reichard successfully converted a 35 yard field goal.
