Donald Trump made over one thousand July stock trades worth up to 270m despite public anger.

Donald Trump executed over one thousand stock market transactions in July, according to a Guardian analysis of his most recent financial disclosure. These transactions, including more than 440 purchases and over 700 sales, were valued between 79 million dollars and 270 million dollars. The disclosure was made public on Tuesday.

The former President's trading occurred amid expressed voter anger regarding elected officials engaging in stock trading. Among his largest sales on July 20 were shares of Amazon and Microsoft, each transaction worth between 5 million dollars and 25 million dollars. That same day, he also sold shares in Oracle, Costco, and Nvidia, while acquiring shares in Intuit and Salesforce, alongside many other trades.
