With energy bills set to increase next month, innovative solutions for home heating and expense reduction are becoming more important. London resident Giles Gibson has adopted one such method for his hot water, moving away from gas heating. His approach uses a different source to warm the water supply for his household.
Mr. Gibson has a compact computer server, referred to as a tiny datacentre, connected directly to his hot water cylinder inside his London residence. As this server operates, it generates heat. This warmth is then transferred to the water, offering a novel and potentially cost saving option for heating within the home.
