Administrators have confirmed that Brewdog's unpaid workers will not receive any money for their outstanding wages and holiday pay. This outcome follows a takeover deal involving the company. The total amount identified as owed to staff for their wages and accrued holiday was approximately £489,000. This administrative decision means that despite the significant sum due, the affected employees will not recover these payments.
In addition to the monies owed to staff, administrators also reported that Brewdog had a substantial debt to HMRC. The company owed £2.4 million to the tax authority for unpaid Value Added Tax. This financial detail was part of the overall liabilities identified during the administrative process, which ultimately led to the determination that no funds would be available for the unpaid staff.
