The social media platform X has initiated legal action, filing a lawsuit against specific individuals identified as UK users. The legal complaint centers on accusations that these users orchestrated a scheme designed to improperly obtain financial payouts from X's Creator Revenue Sharing Program, which is no longer active and has been discontinued by the platform.
According to the lawsuit, the UK users operated a network of six distinct but coordinated accounts. Through the alleged activities facilitated by these accounts, the defendants purportedly extracted a substantial sum, specifically at least $278,000, from the platform's revenue sharing initiative, which has now ceased operations. This legal challenge aims to address the alleged widespread misappropriation of creator funds.
