Apple announced two upgraded smartwatches during its "Surprise and Shine" event, introducing the new flagship Apple Watch Series 12 and the premium rugged Apple Watch Ultra 4. The company did not revisit the budget Apple Watch SE 3 this time. Both new smartwatches became available for purchase starting September 18. Customers can find the Series 12 and Ultra 4 models at the Apple Store, Amazon, and Best Buy. Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 12 is available through Walmart.
Notably, neither new Apple Watch received a price increase from the previous generation. The Apple Watch Series 12 starts from $399, offered in 42mm or 46mm sizes, and includes various rubber, textile, and stainless steel band styles. The Apple Watch Ultra 4, available in a 49mm size, starts from $799. The Ultra model comes standard with cellular connectivity, while it is an optional $100 upgrade for certain Series 12 variants.
