Apple opens London's Apple Music Hall, a sophisticated venue for intimate concerts and Spatial Audio recording.

Apple has launched a new live music venue named Apple Music Hall in London. Situated within the Battersea Power Station, a site now transformed into a shopping and entertainment complex, the facility aims to promote Apple's digital content platforms, including Apple Music and Apple TV. Designed for bespoke, intimate performances, the venue can accommodate up to 600 attendees and boasts an industrial chic aesthetic with bricks, fluted arches, and bronze balconies.

Beyond its visual appeal, the Apple Music Hall is equipped with advanced technology, featuring a 48 speaker spatial sound system surrounding the audience. It also serves as a comprehensive production facility, housing two professional grade recording and mix studios. This setup allows for every performance to be captured as a multitrack recording and mixed in Spatial Audio. With 16 cameras, artists can obtain a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast ready mix, and multicamera video directly from a single show.
